05 May Penn District: RESA Members Preview Vornado’s Penn District Showroom

More than 40 RESA members and their colleagues were treated to a private, in-person tour of Vornado’s Penn District Development by Glen Weiss, Executive Vice President and Co-Head of Real Estate.

Guests toured the newly renovated of PENN1, which has been completely transformed following a massive renovation that features WorkLife, an three-level ‘amenity ecosystem for tenants to focus on both work and self-care,’ before heading up the company’s 12,0000-square-foot showroom that highlights Vornado’s grand office campus plan surrounding Penn Station.

Vornado owns some 7.4 million square feet of real estate surrounding Penn Station.  The company’s Penn District plan, which involves the partial conversion of the Farley Building into offices for Facebook, a renovation/expansion of 2 Penn Plaza, and five new skyscrapers along Seventh and Eighth Avenues and West 34th Street,  is on the cusp of becoming a reality.
