03 May RESA Tour of One Wall Street
On April 30th, 2023, members and collegues of the Real Estate Services Alliance (RESA) had the opportunity to tour One Wall Street in downtown Manhattan. The building, which was originally constructed in 1931 as the headquarters for the Irving Trust Company, recently completed a massive renovation–the largest int he country–to transform it into a sprawling luxury condominium tower.
RESA members were given a guided tour by Jeffrey Yachmetz of Gilman LLC, one of the developers of the project alongside Macklowe Properties. Members were able to see the building’s incredible interiors, including the expansive lobby, the amenities floor, and several model units–as well as the building’s robust amenities.
One of the highlights of the tour was the stunning views of New York City that the building’s location and unique design affords. From the higher floors, members were able to see the iconic skyline of Manhattan, including the World Trade Center, Statue of Liberty, New York Harbor and both the Brooklyn and Manhattan skylines.
The RESA members were particularly impressed by the attention to detail that the developers have put into the design of the building. The model units featured high-end finishes and fixtures, and the layouts were carefully thought out to maximize the use of space.
Overall, the tour of One Wall Street was an informative and exciting experience for the RESA members. They gained insight into the process of renovating a historic building into a modern residential tower and were able to see firsthand the incredible views and luxurious amenities that the building will offer.
